The premise for this game is simple: The plots for Shakespeare's tragedies, as reconfigured for a cyberpunk future. The names may be different, and the powers that be may be cutthroat corporations instead of cutthroat noble houses, but the likes of Romeo, Hamlet, and King Lear will be interacting in a landscape of love, betrayal, high caliber weapons and mirrorshades.
This is a four-hour Theatre-style LARP for people who want to engage in backstabbing intrigue and look badass while doing it.

Not far from the venerable Massachusetts town of Arkham sits Miskatonic University. Its ancient ivy-covered buildings nestled amongst carefully sculpted primeval greenery and mysterious, hoary trees. Miskatonic is renowned as a first-rate liberal arts college. Although Miskatonic is noted for its departments of archaeology, history, and folklore, the quality of the school’s mathematics and sciences should not be ignored. And, of course, Miskatonic is famous for its student pranks and for its persistent rumours of sorcery and black magic. The latter, on the University’s bicentennial, with the annual Alumni Weekend approaching, old stories are being dredged up, and new ones are being whispered in the darkness, for...
Something Strange Is Going On....
Is it true that someone broke into the University Library? What about the rumours that the dread Necronomicon mysteriously vanished from the Rare Books collection? And what is the FBI doing on campus? Could they be investigating the mysterious disappearances that have plagued Miskatonic of late? What about the rise in cult activity? Campus religions have suddenly become very active, especially some of the more outre organizations. Could this be connected with the returning geological and archaeological expeditions? Just what did they discover in the Antarctic, anyway? Are the rumours of insanity amongst the members of the expedition greatly exaggerated, or did something sinister happen deep in that frozen waste? And is it true that the parents of a Miskatonic student really need to sacrifice in order to send their kid to college?

"As long as there is a lower class of people, I am in it. As long as there is a criminal class, I am of it. As long as there is a soul in prison, I am not free." -- Eugene Debs
In 1848, a wave of revolutions for the cause of Liberty swept across Europe. Every single one of them failed.
This is not the story of those revolutions. This is the story of how one of those revolutions might have occurred if it had been filmed in Hollywood starring Errol Flynn and Basil Rathbone, if masked avengers had prowled the rooftops of the capitol, and if everyone carried rapiers.
"We are sleeping on a volcano....A wind of revolution blows, the storm is on the horizon." -- Alexis de Tocqueville, 1848

Welcome to Scearbridge University |
| Alleged Entertainment |
| September 2008 - RPI |
Since 1981, Scearbridge University has been more of an eccentric

of the most brilliant minds in the country. As a prominent member of the
Scearbridge community, you'll be placed right in the middle of this
controversial institution.
Unknown to many, Scearbridge hosts strange secrets. This weekend, at the
University's 25th anniversary celebration, with press, local dignitaries,
and new students in attendance, many of these mysteries risk being uncovered.
